Situated amongst 32 oceanfront acres on the Kohala Coast, the Fairmont Orchid is a spectacular resort offering luxurious accommodation and extensive hotel facilities to the discerning traveler.

The Fairmont Orchid’s stunning beachfront location of white sandy beach and aquamarine waters even attracts a family of sea turtles. The resort scenery includes landscaped gardens and gorgeous waterfalls and a 10,000 square foot freeform pool.

Resort facilities include a wide range of restaurants and bars, 10 tennis courts, a unique outdoor Hawaiian ‘Spa Without Walls’ and 36 holes of golf.

All of the hotel’s guest rooms are extremely comfortable and well-furnished and offer a variety of view.

Hotel information	Additional beach activities available to guests include snorkeling and sailing aboard a 35-foot traditional Hawaiian outrigger canoe. An extensive range of spa treatments and massages are available at the ‘Spa Without Walls’ where guests can enjoy the oceanfront massage cabanas and waterfall massage hale (huts). The Fairmont Orchid also offers a year round children’s activity program.

Open-air dining under the stars and a varied menu including a wide range of local sea food is on offer. Hale Kai restaurant is the perfect venue for a casual lunch or dinner. Situated just steps from the shore, the Ocean Bar Restaurant offers toes-in-the-floor beach dining. Norio’s Japanese Restaurant & Sushi Bar is a favorite among guests and locals alike. The restaurant also features a 12-seat sushi bar and an 18-seat private dining area. Brown’s Deli offers a selection of breakfast and lunch options, deli-style for guests to enjoy at the outdoor tables or simply take away with them to the beach. The Kahakai Bar is the ideal spot for a beachside cocktail or refreshing drink, just steps away from the shoreline. The Luana Lounge is the resort’s inner bar area. A contemporary lounge with indoor and outdoor seating areas and live music on the terrace in the evenings. The hotel also holds a weekly Polynesian feast under the stars. This weekly event, held every Saturday night includes the live performance “The Gathering of the Kings’ and should not be missed. It is held at the Plantation Estate theatre.
